PT Energi Nusantara Resources, a leading player in the energy and mineral exploration sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geophysicist to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading geophysical surveys, interpreting complex subsurface data, and providing critical insights that drive our exploration and production strategies. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in seismic data processing and a passion for uncovering new energy resources.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, plan, and oversee geophysical data acquisition projects (seismic, gravity, magnetic, and electromagnetic).
- Process and interpret 2D/3D seismic data to generate accurate subsurface models.
- Perform advanced quantitative interpretation (QI) and AVO analysis for reservoir characterization.
- Collaborate closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams to mitigate exploration risks.
- Ensure all field operations comply with strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
- Mentor junior geophysicists and provide technical guidance on data processing workflows.
- Author comprehensive technical reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry software and geophysical exploration technologies.
Kualifikasi
- Master's degree (S2) in Geophysics, Physics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the oil & gas or mining exploration industry.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, GeoFrame, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in seismic data processing and inversion.
- Excellent understanding of structural geology and stratigraphy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with strong presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to remote field sites across Indonesia as required.
